Alberta NDP members are invited to register for the Alberta NDP Leadership Premiere. Along with being in the room when the next leader of the Alberta NDP is announced, the Leadership Premiere will feature workshops, panels and speakers for Alberta NDP Activists.

This conference is completely free for members to attend. Register today and you will receive information on a block rate for the Hyatt Regency Calgary.

You can also register to attend your choice of three separate workshops:

Political Messaging: Politicians stay on message for a reason. An expert panel will discuss how political messages are developed and how you can use them in your community to gain support and not be lured into the political bushes.

Volunteers: With thousands of new members to our party we need to make them feel welcome in our constituency association! These new members were committed enough to buy a membership and it is now our job to welcome them into the fold. Learn how to build the volunteer base with our old and new members. In this session we’ll learn how to recruit and retain volunteers. Not every volunteer wants to be president, but they need to feel welcome. This training will cover the roles and responsibilities of a Constituency Association activist, including the role of the CFO, the president, and will include a discussion on engaging with the NDP’s new members.

Breaking through the Blue: This data presentation will analyze strategies that have proven successful in non-urban constituencies. Learn about the tools that campaigns can use to break through in conservative-held regions of the province. These tactics work. Learn how they can be used in your constituency.
