Amanda Chapman knows her community like no other – she grew up in Huntington Hills, built a career in communications, raised her family in the same neighbourhood, and showed up where it mattered: as a volunteer on the local school board, in local theatre, in non-profit organizations across northern Calgary. She came to public office because she knows what Calgary-Beddington needs.
Elected in 2023, Amanda now serves as Shadow Minister for Education. She has challenged this government on underfunded classrooms, overcrowded schools, inadequate support for complex learners, and the use of emergency legislation to override Alberta's teachers during labour action. She has not let up.
Amanda Chapman is ready. Alberta's New Democrats are ready.
