Alberta’s New Democrats are seeking a motivated, creative, and energetic individual to assist with voter outreach. The VCR will be working in Morinville-St. Albert.
General Description and Duties
Under the supervision of the Organizing Team, the VCR will conduct voter contact activities door to door, by phone and by text. The VCR will primarily supplement local volunteer activities to build and engage our volunteer base as well as participate in direct voter contact. There is one position available.
Qualifications
- Confident, assertive, and pleasant verbal communicator
- Willingness to spend many hours contacting voters
- Excellent listener and connector
- Proven experience keeping accurate and detailed records
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others
- Ability to adapt to changing work locations and priorities
- Willingness to work irregular hours in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work within a team as well as independently
- Prior NDP campaign experience is an asset
Terms and Conditions
This is a part time, temporary independent contractor position. Contractors will be paid at a rate of $20 per hour.
