Danielle Smith and the UCP want to cheat to win the next election. In order to dodge accountability, this government is willing to strip Albertans of effective representation and cheat their way into another term. The UCP wants to draw their own electoral boundaries so they can pick their own voters to try to hold onto power. Never before has the naked ambition of politicians resulted in such an overt display of cheating.
This is a shocking assault on our democracy. Voters should pick their politicians – not the other way around.
