Michelle Baer is a lawyer and volunteer who has spent her career building stronger communities. After spending ten years raising her children, she coordinated family and community supports through the non-profit sector before becoming a municipal lawyer, where she helps navigate complex challenges. She understands the challenges facing families and communities across Alberta.
Michelle is a dedicated volunteer. She is the chair of the Central Alberta Women’s Emergency Shelter board and leads a private refugee sponsorship group. Over the past year, Michelle has strongly advocated for Alberta remaining in Canada. Through her decades of community service, she believes in being a voice for all community members on affordability, healthcare, and education.
Michelle is a proud Albertan, a proud Canadian, and a longtime Red Deer resident. She is eager to represent Red Deer-South and build a better future for Alberta.
