Rural Alberta is open season for change … if citizens focus on our common ground.
Join us on Tuesday, September 15, 7 PM via Zoom as the Alberta NDP Rural Caucus, hosts a free public non-partisan information session, “Sustaining Robust Public Services in Rural Alberta”.
Progressive parties and organizations have a tremendous opportunity to organize around unifying issues to find common ground and turn the corner in rural Alberta to create a government that works for all Albertans. We need to rebuild and sustain high quality public services in rural Alberta, and a respect for local rural communities. A fulsome consultation about AI (Artificial Intelligence) data centres in rural communities needs to be at the forefront of future debate.
Affordability, democracy, transparency, and accountability are the cornerstones of good government manifesting differently in rural communities. We will offer commentary on how we can achieve these elements in the delivery of public services for rural Albertans.
***Your confirmation email will contain the Zoom link for this presentation.
This session is free of charge, but your donation in any amount to the Rural Caucus is always welcome! https://act.albertandp.ca/donate/rur/ Funds raised in this way will be used to assist candidates in rural ridings during the 2027 provincial election.
