On March 18 at 7pm, members of the party who are Indigenous are holding a Special General Meeting for the Indigenous Peoples Caucus online over Zoom where they will welcome new members to their working group, including electing new interim co-chairs to serve until the IPC AGM at the Convention May 2-4, 2025. 

The IPC Constitution states our vision is for Indigenous peoples to flourish in society.  

Our mission is the creation of a positive path forward for Indigenous peoples, families, and communities in society.  

This meeting is for interests of the Indigenous Peoples Caucus: First Nations, Metis, Inuit, status, and non-status.  

The Indigenous Peoples Caucus was formed to address the historical neglect of Indigenous Peoples in our province and seeks to make right that which was wrong.

Agenda:

• Election of interim IPC Co-Chairs to serve until IPC AGM
• Discussion of IPC AGM Planning at the ANDP Convention
• Review & Adoption of interim-IPC Constitution for ratification at IPC AGM
• Discussion & formation of an “IPC Work Team” & Request for volunteer members
• Discuss creating a “Wisdom Circle” for IPC, which would include Elders, Knowledge Keepers, and whom-ever else we designate.
