Alberta’s New Democrats are seeking a motivated individual to assist with supporter outreach and engagement calling.

The organization’s Board of Directors and staff complement are professional, dedicated individuals focused on continuing to grow the party and re-electing an NDP government in Alberta

General Description and Duties

Reporting to the Provincial Secretary and/or their designate, the successful applicant will be responsible for contacting Alberta NDP supporters, collecting and entering data in databases and maintaining accurate, up-to-date and usable information in our systems.

• Call AB NDP Members, Donors for ticket sales to upcoming fundraising events
• Process sales for tickets online and over the phone
• Store completed work in designated locations
• Apply data program techniques and procedures
• Keep information confidential
• Comply with data integrity and security policies
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

• Knowledge of the history and structure of the Alberta New Democrats
• Experience with calling and high levels of customer service and stewardship
• Proven experience with data entry and fundraising
• Experience with MS Office and data programs
• Familiarity with administrative duties
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively under deadlines and be self-motivated
• Willingness to work altered and irregular hours
• Willingness to be trained by AB NDP staff
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
• Proficiency in Raisers’s Edge Databases is an asset

Terms & Conditions

This position reports to the Call Centre Manager and/or their designate, and is a temporary independent contractor position starting upon hiring, and concluding by April 30th, 2025.

Compensation

$22 per hour
