This city is home to hundreds of tech startups, small business incubators, research accelerators, artificial intelligence labs and video game companies. It is a major hub for advanced manufacturing and oilfield servicing and serves as the gateway to the north for all major transportation routes.

Our downtown has thriving businesses, exciting restaurants, a world-class arena, and access to Canada's most beautiful river valley. But we also know that if Edmonton is going to have a strong recovery, we need to help people achieve their dreams and lift them up.

After four difficult years of dealing with a healthcare crisis, a housing crisis, and a UCP government that is constantly in crisis…

It’s time for a better approach. This is our plan to build a better future for Edmonton.

With $1.87 billion in investments, the Alberta NDP will create over 7,800 jobs over the next three years.

We will:

• Build more affordable housing
• Build and modernize 40 schools
• Build the South Edmonton Hospital
• Begin work to build the Stollery Children’s Hospital
• Establish a NAIT Skills Centre
• Fund Edmonton’s Downtown Revitalization, including Edmonton’s Chinatown district
